"HWC contest #130: Food Diary Game - WEEK -42 by @dequeen(18/03/2025)".
Am thrilled to engage in the Food Diary Game of this week been week 42. This contest always help steemians to sit back and check if they have consumed healthy meals on a particular day or not. It is advisable that we all should remember that nutrition is one of the pillars of our health and general well-being.
Waking up, I was delighted to see the bright new day and I carried out my normal morning routine and afterward dropping my daughter in school. Returning home, I was extremely hungry. I decided to eat biscuit and malt, Which turned my breakfast for the day.
We know that almost all soda drink helps in boosting our energy. That is what I obtained after having this Breakfast.
It gave me strength to clean up the house and do other home chores successful.
Before I could finish cleaning, it was afternoon already. I entered kitchen and prepared pasta ( Macaroni jollof).
This is one of my favourite meals which to prepare is very easy but energising. The meal is a complete and healthy recipes because Macaroni is carbohydrates, egg is protein and Ground nut oil is fat and oil, onion, tomatoes and other ingredients contains mineral and vitamins.
If you wish to try this recipe, the following was my ingredients :
Pasta ( macaroni), Eggs, Vegetable oil, Salt, Fish, Maggi, Curry powder, Onga stew, Thyme, Fresh tomatoes, Tomato paste, Onions, Curry leaf.
From the above, you can see that the meal nutritional value is top notch and enjoyeable. It has vitamins from the veggies, protein, carbohydrates, minerals, calcium and lot more.
My evening was a calm and cool one so I decided to walk around our compound and enjoy the cool breeze with my children. Thereafter, I prepared Nigeria jollof Rice.
Rice is one of the meals cherished in all occasions and in short, it is meal king of occasion in my environment and we consumes it on a regular basis.
My meal was delicious and my family enjoyed the recipe so much with heartfelt appreciation.
I enjoyed coffee ☕ in the night which helps me to stay awake and read for my ITELs examination that is coming up in few months.
After a while, I feel tired and retired to bed.
