Weekend Chronicles: A Day of Celebrations, Bonding, and Memories
Hello friends, how are you all? Let's begin today's diary. So, today is the weekend, and after waking up in the morning, I check my phone and look at the notifications. After spending some time on Instagram and WhatsApp, I go to the kitchen where I heat some lukewarm water for myself.
After drinking it, I prepare a herbal drink (Kadha) with various ingredients like amla, beetroot, cinnamon, fenugreek, raw turmeric, bay leaves, ginger, black pepper, lemon, and finally honey. After drinking this energy-boosting drink, I quickly take a shower and get dressed. I call Ajay to take him to the market, and he gets ready quickly. We both head to the market, where we buy peas, potatoes, and raw turmeric.
When we reach home, Ajay makes a delicious pea curry, and I prepare dough for puris. Together, we make the curry and puris, and after eating, we both feel a bit sleepy, so we take a short nap.
In the evening, Parth and I go out for a walk. First, we visit a sunglasses shop where we look at various sunglasses. We both like two pairs, which cost 25,000 rupees (equivalent to 1041 Steem).
The brand of the sunglasses is Mouijim, which is famous worldwide. On our way back home, I encounter traffic and take a picture of Parth's car, which has India's tricolor flag on its dashboard.
When I get home, I see that Ajay has taken a bath and is getting ready to go to the temple. I tell him that I’ll join him, so we both head to the temple.
After that, Ajay needed to exchange a shirt at Zudio, so we go to Zudio, exchange the shirt, and buy a pair of jeans. On our way back, we buy mutton from the market, and once we reach home, we prepare mutton and parathas.
By around 11 pm, we’re enjoying our meal and watching TV. At that point, Ajay goes upstairs, and I remember that I need to celebrate his birthday. As it strikes midnight, I go and get a cake and balloons, then decorate the hall completely. At exactly 12 o'clock, we celebrate Ajay's birthday.
He thanks all of us, and we all go out to have cold coffee. We go to a place where there’s also a bonfire, which costs 340 rupees (about 43 Steem). We enjoy our coffee and the bonfire, chatting until around 3:30 am. The night is so beautiful that I capture its picture on my camera.
And with that, today’s day comes to an end. I’ll meet you all in my next diary entry.
