A Day Well Spent – Food, Friends, and Serenity

Namaste friends! How are you all? Let’s begin today’s diary.

After waking up in the morning and completing my daily routine, I head to the Reliance store to buy vegetables and some groceries for the house. I usually return home after about an hour. Then, all of us friends gather in the kitchen to cook together. While the food is being prepared, I quickly take a shower and return to join everyone.

Today, I bought a lot of mangoes from Reliance Mart. In Gujarat, Kesar mangoes are renowned for their delicious taste. For lunch, we had chicken curry, chapati, rice, and salad.

After lunch, I took a short nap. Once I woke up, I sat at my study table to do some reading, and soon the evening began to set in.

In the evening, I went up to the terrace to enjoy some peaceful moments. The view outside was quite beautiful, and the weather felt like it was about to rain. After spending some time chatting with my friends, we all came back downstairs. I took another shower and got ready to go to the temple with Anuj.

Visiting the temple brings peace to the mind. I believe that even if not daily, one should at least visit the temple on alternate days or weekly. It helps maintain spiritual connection and brings a sense of calmness.

After returning from the temple, I started preparing rotis for dinner. Since some chicken curry from lunch was still left and I wasn’t feeling too hungry, I just made rotis for myself and my friends. I had two rotis with ghee and jaggery. Then, I came back to my room to study for a while. After studying for some time, I went upstairs for a bit, and with that, the day comes to an end.

See you in the next diary.
Bye everyone!
