Time is flying like wind and we have only three months before turning pages in a new year. Anyway, @jyoti-thelight has already come up with her Weekly power-up contest.. Already 56 weeks have been done in it as well. So, if you plan to do a power-up, here is the chance to do it by joining a contest.

We know that Steem is the native cryptocurrency of our beloved ecosystem. So, converting this Steem into Steemit power state is done by the process of powering up. Don't worry, it's not that big a deal. This is very important for both the platform as well as the individual users. So, more like a win-win situation.

We know that our rewards come as 50% Steem and 50% Steemit power, (if we didn't set the posts to 100% power up). So, as 50% is already automatically powered up, we have 50% of Steem to do this manually and if we need to withdraw some. The staked state can't be withdrawn and you have to remember that we have to wait 01 month if we want to convert to original. So, what's all the rush? Before that let's do my weekly power-up.

The next window that comes up, when you hit the power up option is like below. There we have to give the amount we need and click and proceed. Then we just need the active key, and in a few seconds, it is done.

The importance of Power Up

The valuable discussion. This process is just like an investment, that gives us more influence on the platform. First, it increases the strength of your upvotes. You will understand when you check and compare yours and the steem curators. So, the higher the better, as we can appreciate quality content on the platform. As a return, the amount of curation rewards we receive also gets higher. This is a considerably higher passive income as well. So, it's a plus point for both sides.
