My kid sister is my best travel companion we have had lots of travelling together since our university days because that was when we were allowed to travel alone without our parents. Since then, it has been a beautiful experience to travel together. This is because we have the same taste in travelling destinations we never get tired of discussing while we travel, which helps make the journey shorter; whenever we travel, we create a lasting memory, and we support each other while we travel.
Travelling with my sister makes our trip more enjoyable. We always collaborate in decision-making and share costs of some expenses like food and accommodation, and this helps us save money. We look out for each other, this helps us stay organised and enhance safety.
There is no room for loneliness whenever we travel to a new environment; having her as my travel companion provides emotional support.
There was a time when we were travelling back to school, and the journey lasted for 13 hours; with her, the journey was an adventure because we recreated every part of the journey to be fun. We had to journey into the night when we got to a place we saw lots of cars parked on the road our vehicle was asked to park too that there was a robbery attack in front and people began to jump out through the weekend and it was a high luxurious bus. I was about to jump through the window too when she held me back and asked where I was jumping to, that the whole area was bush and that she could tell we didn't know what we were running into the bush to meet.

However she told me That it was better we remained inside the vehicles so I listened to her and stayed back until morning when other cars began to move and other passengers from our vehicle returned we got here that there was no robber attack, that vehicles were parked because there was a curfew in the state .once its 8pm, vehicle is not allowed in and out
So many people get injured from the jumps. I was glad I had a great companion like her with me on the journey who was calm and composed amid the panic because I would have jumped out with others on a false alarm and sustained unnecessary injury.
A great travel companion should possess the following qualities
Adventurous Ready to discover new destinations and experiences and to explore.
Shared interest Your companion should have a similar travel taste and interest to you. This helps you both plan your travels without difficulty

Communication Having an honest openness, being ready to listen, value each others' feelings and thoughts all create good communication that is essential when travelling to make the journey a lively one.
Flexibility A travel companion should be ready to adjust to a change in plans and ready to try new options and things.
Sense of humour having a high spirit even when the journey or things around look stressful, Laughing and enjoying the journey when it looks challenging.
Financially ready A companion should be ready to contribute to some part of the journey expenses and have a disciplined spending habit.
Problem-solving quality A companion should have the knowledge or skill to see a way out of an unexpected problem and stay calm and composed.
