The Diary Game: A Day Of Sumptuous Breakfast, Chores And Responsibilities(02-10-2025)

Hello, good people of this community. How are you? Hope this month of October is treating you well?? It's all good on my side so far and a quick one, apologies for coming late again. Let be quickly tell you all about how my day went, it started off with morning devotion. A good day should always start with s devotion to God and total submission for guidance as we step out to hustle for bread each new day. I left the room and went out to do my chores of sweeping the compound and when I was done, I took my bath. While I was in the bathroom, my wife was making ready breakfast so when I came out of the bathroom, I ate my breakfast before getting dressed and ready to go to the shop.

I got to the shop, opened and began to work. Meanwhile, since I had mentioned the idea of getting paid to my wife, she has been making efforts of coming to the shop instead of leaving everything for me to run. We were both in our shops and attending to customers, I began to iron some clothes when there was light and I was in it for more than two hours to make sure all the clothes that were up for ironing were properly ironed and packaged for delivery. It wasn't long my wife came in and asked that I look after the shop for her while she goes to the market to buy crayfish and some other stuff that had finished in the shop.

I granted her request and she left, I went back to ironing and within some minutes I was done. I sat and relaxed yet looking after the two shops in my care, I was hungry but there was nothing at reach I could eat so I stayed still till my wife returned from the market. She came back all wet and was surprised it wasn't raining in the shop axis and asked if it ever drizzled and I said no, she said she got to the market under the rain and left the market while it was still raining. She dried the crayfish so the water that penetrated could fry off a bit, I took pictures of it because no activity should go without being captured. I told her of my hungry state and she suggested we do garri, there's food at home so buying food outside to eat will be a total waste of money she added. This was in the afternoon

Anything that will quench my hunger is acceptable, so my wife soaked the garri while I peeled the groundnut we used in sipping it. In the evening, I couldn't help but get some rest, I had worked since morning without rest. Looking at my eyes, you will know I really needed to rest. I tried sleeping off but it isn't a good idea while on duty so I controlled it and didn't allow it get the best of me, I prayed for my closing time to come quickly so I could return back home but guess what? A lady walked in some minutes to my closing hour with a laundry basket filled with clothes for launder.

I didn't see any need of pushing today's job to tomorrow so I took out my working equipments and got to work, I begged my wife not to go home just yet and she stayed and even assisted me in washing the clothes. I folded them neatly into a bucket and kept it inside, closed and locked my shop and returned back home. I got home and took my bath, ate and came here to write my diary.
