Hello ๐ Dear Steemians!,
Today I want to share with you all how I powered up my 18 STEEM tokens to my Steem Power(SP) for this week.
Please below ๐ here is my details how I did it, step by step:
- First of all, I launched my Steemit app which my account was logged in but just for the case I was logged out, I will have to logged into my Steemit account using my secure private posting keys. This is more like using a special key to open my digital treasure box! ๐

- Once I was inside, my mind was made up and I went to my wallet section, I clicked sign in and input my username and Active Key ๐ and logged In - here I'll like to think of it as my digital piggy bank where indeed all my STEEM tokens live.

- Here In my wallet section, I found out my total Steems balance and made the choice of powering up 18 STEEMs and so I clicked on the bright green ๐ button close to my Steem Balance, then select the option that says "Power Up" - here it feels like pressing a magic button that makes my STEEMIT Account stronger!
- I carefully typed in the number 18 which is precisely how many STEEM tokens I want to power up. At this point It's was like telling my piggy bank exactly how many of the coins I want to save in.

Before I decide hitting the final button, I definitely double-checked the number I input to really make sure everything was correct and then input my Private Active. Key. It Just like counting your money twice to confirm before buying something!
Finally, I hit the clicked "Power Up" and then confirmed my action. Then Just like that, 'ASAP' my regular STEEM magically turned into powerful Steem Power!

Why Powering Up is Super Important: |

- First It's more Like Getting Super Powers!
When we power up our STEEM, we get something called the "Steem Power." This gives us more of strength in the Steemit community.
- Just like eating spinach makes Tunde stronger!
More Voting Power
With more of the Steem Power, when we vote on someone's post, our vote counts more too. Basically like having a louder voice/impact in a crowd!Earning More Reward
Also the more Steem Power we have, the more rewards we all can earn from creating posts and the curating (voting on) on other people's content. So I do consider it like we are planting a seed that grows into a money tree!Being a Community Hero
By really powering up, we are definitely showing that truely we believe in Steemit's future anytime any day. We're like a superhero here , pushing ๐ช on our efforts in helping to make the platform stronger!Long-term Benefits
While powered-up STEEMs locked for a while (like the piggy bank we can't break open right away as we like), it always helps us to earn more over time. Think of it here as my saving money in a special account that gives me those extra bonuses!

I see it like adding my own special brick to help build a stronger house where we all as family can live and grow together in unity.

Me that power up yesterday, hahaha, you're right, the more you power up, the more your steem power increase, the more your influence increases, the more your curation increase. So that's to say, is not just about powering up, you're doing something that will benefit you, me and the whole community as well. I see it as a linf term investment. Saving for the rainy day. I do my power up anytime I have any liquid steem in my wallet because am targeting club100. My goal is to increase my steem power and be active in the platform.
