Dear Steemian friends,
I’m @azit1980

Welcome everyone to our special day today. Hope everyone is well. Wishing you good health, I am starting to write some of today's diary games.
Today is a very special day for our family. This day is celebrated twice a month. This day is called Ekadashi, on this day we observe a fast. I never used to follow these. My family always observes religious rules and regulations, so I am slowly starting to observe them too. The day before this day, you have to eat vegetarian food, you cannot eat any kind of non-vegetarian food, you cannot eat rice on this day. You can only eat fruits. That too, you have to eat them twice a day, at 12 noon and before going to bed. I went home very late yesterday, so I didn't buy much for today. I woke up in the morning and went to buy bananas after getting fresh. There are some restrictions on bananas, Bengali bananas are the best to eat on this day. Other bananas can also be eaten, but my daughter doesn't eat anything except Bengali bananas. So I searched a few places and bought Bengali.
My wife will cook Polao style with Original Shabu for lunch. She will add almonds while cooking Shabu, but I don't have any at home. I went to the store to see if they had almonds with shells, but I thought it would take time to buy whole almonds, so I bought shelled almonds. Cooking with almonds is a lot of fun. My daughter doesn't want to eat pola cooked with almonds. This type of pola is cooked with sabhu, almonds, and a lot of sugar. This is her lunch dish. That's why I shared only the picture of the almonds.
After eating some light fruits, I went to the banks of the Buri Ganga river today. This is located in Pagla Bazar, Narayanganj district. It takes a maximum of 10 to 12 minutes to walk from our house. When I went to the river bank, I saw some people going by boat to Dhaka Sadarghat. I really like boating. I have been on a boat many times since I came here for work. I often take my daughter on a boat, she loves it. However, many times, when a large launch comes by, the boat gets submerged by the waves of the lunch.
The old woman is raising cows on the banks of the Ganges. I felt very sorry to see the way she has tied the cows. Look at the way a cow is there and no one is paying attention to it. In fact, if we humans do not understand the plight of all these animals, then nothing can be more unfortunate than this. I shared my pain with you.
This is the ghat authorized by Bangladesh Inland Water Transport in Pagla Bazar. Boats ply through this ghat 24 hours a day. Narayanganj Port is located on the other side of this ghat. The boat fare to go from one side to the other is 3 taka and you have to pay 2 taka at the ghat. Every time I have crossed this ghat, Every time I paid 5 taka, I got 2 taka back and they gave me a chocolate in my hand, there was nothing I could do. I took a picture from a long distance. If I go down and take a picture, I have to pay 2 taka, otherwise I can't go there. So I took a picture from above on my mobile.
