My Favorite City of My Country

What is your favorite city in your country? Why do you like it?

While living in our country, all the cities are very dear to us because our country is the most dear to us. Here we are given full permission to live, work, and behave following all aspects of Islam. We do our work according to our way. We have to see this same restriction in other countries. When we go to another country, we have to behave according to their behavior there. That is why we love our country, that is why all the cities are dearer to us.

But still, if I have to choose one city, I will choose Lahore because there are all kinds of facilities there, every kind of thing is available there. If you talk about education, there are top universities there, top colleges there, and schools where students get their education.

If we talk about sightseeing and entertainment, there are many places where the soul is satisfied by going there. We enjoy a lot there. There are many places like that. There are many parks. There are many zoos. There is an army museum. There are many things that we enjoy a lot.

Apart from this, Lahore is the heart of Pakistan. It is one of the most beautiful cities. The transport there is top notch. The government of Pakistan has also provided a lot of good transport there. More new projects are underway there, due to which it is very famous and it touches my heart.

Have you ever lived there, or do you just love visiting?

My city is Sahiwal. I live in the small city of Harappa in Sahiwal, but this Harappa is very old and very famous for its civilization. If I talk about Lahore, I do not live there. I only go there to visit. I have often visited there due to my compulsion. For example, if I had to get my degree attested, I went to the HEC department for that and got my degree verified. Similarly, there are many places that I have visited and enjoyed there.

As I have mentioned before, there are many places where we go for enjoyment, so I have visited there many times, including Minar-e-Pakistan, Badshahi Mosque, and of course, there are many other places like Badshahi Fort.

Apart from this, there is a zoo there. Apart from the zoo, there is an army museum. There are many places where I have visited and enjoyed there. I go specifically to see these places. Often, if a school wants to go on a trip, it also goes to such a city because there are many facilities available for children there. Children enjoy it a lot there, so they are taken there for a visit. Families go to parks that have been built there by the government of Pakistan.

Are there any tourist attractions in your favorite city? If yes then tell us about them.

Lahore is not my city, but as a Pakistani, it is my city. I often go there for fun. Many places are designed for sightseeing and entertainment.

This is a special center for tourists. Here, they can fully enjoy themselves, have a picnic with their family and children. For example, if we talk about Minar-e-Pakistan, it is an open field. The Badshahi Mosque is attached to Minar-e-Pakistan, and the Badshahi Fort is also there. We get to see all these things at once, so this is a special center for tourists.

Along with these three things, we see a beautiful library where there are many books. We always get the chance to sit there and read all kinds of books. Similarly, the tomb of our famous poet, Poet of Pakistan, Poet of the East, who is buried here, is also right here, right next to the Badshahi Mosque, so we also get the opportunity to go there and pray.

I would say that if someone is coming to Lahore for the first time, they should visit this place so that they can see a lot of things in one place. Apart from this, there are many other places like the Army Museum, the Zoo, the Rana Resort, so there are many such places where you will enjoy.

If someone visited for the first time, what is the one place they must see?

As I have mentioned before, here is the Badshahi Mosque, Badshahi Fort, Minar-e-Pakistan, the tomb of Allama Iqbal, and a library. You get to see all these things in one place. Therefore, if someone has come to this city for the first time, he must visit this place so that he can see some good things here. This Badshahi Mosque is a mosque built during the Mughal era, as well as a fort built during their era. Minar-e-Pakistan, which is the identity of our Pakistan, is the identity of Lahore, and it is a monument of Lahore. So, all these things can be seen here. Therefore, if someone comes for the first time, he must visit this place.

To go here, you also have to use transport, so the transport here is very easily available, run by the Government of Pakistan, which is the Metro Bus. The stops of the Metro Bus are there. You can easily reach Minar Pakistan by sitting on the Metro Bus. There is a Metro Bus station at Minar Pakistan, and the bus must stop there, so you will also enjoy this transport, which has a separate track.

In Lahore, you get transport at a very reasonable price because the government has provided the metro bus, the express bus, and the orange line train. These are the transports provided by the government and their tickets are only between 25 and 50 rupees and during this time you can cover a distance of 25 to 30 kilometers. So if you go there, you must enjoy these transports, which are the electrical orange train, they will give you a lot of fun.
