HWC Contest #118: Food Diary Game - WEEK -38 by @adylinah (14-02-2025)

Greetings Steemians
Welcome to another piece of my food diary blog for 14th February 2025. My day started and ended with good, healthy and mood brightening meals ranging from breakfast to dinner.

Breakfast: Yam and Egg with Tea

Breakfast as the first meal of the day should be fast, appetizing and mood lifting. The day began and I was wondering what to cook for breakfast. After figuring something fast that I can prepare in just few minutes, I went to the kitchen to peel yam, sliced it in stick-like form and fried with vegetable oil.

I fried eggs, boiled water for tea and served the breakfast with love. I had my portion and it was satisfying after eating.

Lunch: Ogbono and Okra Soup with Garri

It was noon, I returned from the market where I went to shop food items. Reaching home, I started setting up the kitchen to prepare soup but before then I had to take some fruit ( African star apple).

It was milky and sweet, unlike the ones I've tasted before now. After cooking, I served the delicious ogbono and okra soup with swallow (garri).

Dinner: Golden Morn

After a long day, I had enough rest before going to the kitchen to find what to eat. I was really exhausted to cook so I made small portion of golden morn for dinner.
