Betterlife - The Diary Game | 12 june 2025 | "The rain has stopped our normal pace of work."
Today, the rain interrupted our work. Our plans were ruined and at the same time, the work speed was slowed down. Even though we planned today, we could not take the nuts home from the field because of the rain. Let's share today's diary.
The sun came out in the morning with a lot of heat. Although we were tired of the heat, we needed the sun for our work, so we were happy. We came to the almond field in the morning. There was a small canal next to the field. The locals here have started a machine to remove the water from the canal and catch fish. I watched their activities there for some time. Even if the water is removed with the machine, there is a lot of tidal water coming in, so it will be difficult for them to catch fish.
We had piled up some semi-dry nuts yesterday after seeing clouds in the sky. The first thing we did this morning was to spread these piled nuts. We started the day's work with that task. After finishing the work of spreading all our nuts, I returned home after giving instructions to the workers.
The rain came in a short time and soaked the corn.
I was drying the corn at home and had some other work at the same time. Suddenly, clouds appeared in the afternoon sky and it rained for a short time. At home, I was trying to quickly remove the corn to dry, but I couldn't because of the rain. I covered some of the corn with polythene. My husband and two brothers were with the workers in the almond field.
After the rain stopped, I took a bath and went to the almond field and joined them. Today, we will not be taking the almonds home. Since our almond transport vehicle has arrived, we will take some almond leaves for our cows. Today, instead of almonds, we are taking 2 full loads of almond leaves. Today, I am not joining the work anymore, I am directing the workers to do the work.
In the evening I went to my brother's grocery store and spent some time. It was very hot and cloudy, so there were very few people in the market today. I returned home by 9 pm. I am finishing today, Allah Hafez.
