It was a memorable night for us. Never before have we been drenched in rain at 2 am. The memories of picking mangoes on stormy days when I was a child in the village came back to me. Let's enter today's diary blog.

Part of my regular routine

I started the day with my regular routine and went to the library in the morning to study and hang out with friends. The number of readers in the library is decreasing every day as Eid-ul-Azha approaches. Many students are leaving the city and going to the village. Today, a debate is being held at the Shishu Academy next to our library. We were there for some time. In the afternoon, we left the library and returned home.

Taken for dinner

We are 7 people living in this flat. Tomorrow (2nd) one of us will leave. He came to us for two months. One of our members will leave. Therefore, it would be good to cook something good tonight and enjoy dinner together. We went to the market to buy duck for dinner. When we first went to buy a local duck, the price was relatively high, so we bought this swan. It would take a long time to slaughter, clean and process this duck, so we gave it to the meat shop and asked them to process it.

My job this time was to install the display of my old mobile. Yesterday I only put a display on it for testing. Today I put the display on it and the mobile cover. My first job is done.

We want to do some shopping now, T-shirts and pants. We noticed a new clothing store that was opening and they were offering up to 70% off. We went there to check out their clothes. We were choosing T-shirts from here and there were 5 of us. The 5 of us bought 8 T-shirts from there. I bought 4 T-shirts alone. The price of the T-shirts was 870 BDT (51steem) with a 70% discount. It came to 261 BDT (13steem) according to the calculation. We stayed there for a long time and shopped.

We need to buy pants now. We went to a shop we know and I was looking for a pair of pants. I tried on the pants and then bought one in my size. I spent 1250 BDT (75steem) on the pants.

Preparation before cooking duck meat and starting cooking

We are now back at the meat shop where we were given the duck to process. It will be a long night today if we cook this duck at 10 pm. We processed the meat and did some shopping. We returned home with salad, spices, and rice. We started working on our cooking. First, we have to prepare the spices. We made a paste of onion, chili, ginger, and garlic. Someone is washing and preparing the duck meat. The day we cook for ourselves in our bachelor flat, the atmosphere of the festival begins. We prepare the spices and start cooking the meat.

It will take about 1 hour to cook. We spent this time talking and being with each other. It was 1 am when we finished cooking. We made salad and eggplant stew for dinner. We sat down to eat and had a great time. It started raining after 1am and it was pouring down heavily.

My friend came as a guest and he had to go home because his wife was alone at home. He can't go out because of the rain. When the rain subsided at 1.45, I took him on the bike and took him a little further and in the middle of the journey, the rain increased even more. We took shelter in front of a shop but the rain did not subside. We decided to get wet this time, I ignored the rain and dropped him at his house.

I returned home in the rain and it was 2 am. The juniors in my flat were waiting for me. When I returned home, they offered me again that they would also get wet in the rain tonight and I agreed. We took two bikes for 5 and went out. We were riding around the city on bikes and enjoying the rain. The rain had stopped for some time.

We are feeling a bit cold in the air after the rain. A cup of hot tea would have warmed up our bodies. We went to a tea shop. They were closing the shop. At our request, they turned on the stove again for us and made hot tea. 5 of us are enjoying tea. At this time, the rain is increasing again. We came out with 100 BDT (6steem) for 5 cups of tea.

We came to our Dinajpur Government College this time. The main gate is closed at night. We took a few pictures in front of the gate. We have to go back now. It is around 3 o'clock in the night. We came back to the flat and took a bath at night. We all got wet in the rain suddenly so there is a possibility that we will get fever so we took paracetamol group medicine and went to sleep.
