Weekly Drawing Contest 31 | Drawing Of your Valentine Gift

Hello steemians and fellow members of STEEM FOR INDONESIA community. Greetings to everyone. I'm here to share with you the steps it took me to draw my Valentine's gift.
I want to use this opportunity to appreciate @m-fdo for organizing this wonderful contest that will help me express my creativity and craft on how I drew my Valentine's gift.

The artwork is one of my greatest masterpiece. I really wanted to gift her on Val's day. She was so happy and surprised. She kept telling me she lacked words to use in the expression of her gratitude for the gift. I have leave a link in the ending part of this post. the link expresses how we met and how she celebrated me on Val's day. I will never forget the euphoria of the moments. I will say this is one of my best Val's day celebration ever.

Paper	FBB paper

Pencils	charcoal pencil and powder
Eraser	Tombo mono zero and nataraj vynil eraser
Camera	Redmi mobile phone
Duration	Approximately 26 hours

Here are the steps on how I did the portrait.
I drew my grid lines and made my sketch then started shading it gradually. Sometimes I usually start some of my portraits from the hair, but in his case I started with the facial features, which is the nose, eyes, down and lips. This is to helps me work downward and from left to right before moving down to the clothing. I do this to avoid smudging the part I may have already worked on. I really took my time to include everything in detail. Making sure nothing was left out since I want him to really appreciate a good work. And I know myself. I know I'm always committed to excellence regardless of who my client may be. Though this wasn't a client's job. This is a personal collection for my girl so I had to take my time. Doing my best is in my DNA.
