5 reasons to Exercise in Mid Life

Lets forget about looking buff and having more endurance and energy cause thats for young folks. If you ask a middle aged person like me the benefits of exercise I would tell you plenty.. First of all getting your body to move in some capacity at least 30 minutes a day really helps move things along. Thats right it will get your gut percolating and encourage you to poop all that crap out of you. It will boost your energy and give your mind more clarity. There is nothing like a good walk to get your mind churning and thinking stuff out. Not to mention expending all that pent up emotion from the daily burden of life has in store for you. When you reach a certain age your hormones in addition to your slowing metabolism really piss you off. I mean looking at your fat pockets creep on you really makes a site for sore eyes. Getting into motion on the regular will help regulate some of the hormones and get your metabolism on the right track. Finally muscle deterioration. Thats right you will wither away if you don’t add some form of strength training. In addition strength training keeps you from bone deterioration as well. Isn’t life great getting older! Stay young and feeling healthy go out and get some steps in and leave the couch for potatoes.
