Brave: End of Referral Program
I knew this was coming sooner or later. They have been battling with spam and fraud. They just made some changes to the program last month and stopped accepting new participants...
and now, it is over.
They are shutting down the referral program... for now?
Sunsetting the referral program and planning for the future
Hopefully, they will come back with a better and improved referral program next year!
On the flip side...
I got a BAT payout today.
9.795 BAT is for viewing the ads. I am not sure about the other 66 BAT... it could be the rewards from referral program? but my creator rewards displays a different number so I have no idea, but I will take it 🤤

sorry to hear this and if it is still working then it will definitely end up because of abuse. Abusers and spammers are everywhere. Anyway thanks for sharing this important update among us. Keep sharing !!
It is sad... but it was inevitable
Unfortunately the abuse in many aspects ends up breaking these plans of some projects to attract more people, like these referral plans.
There will always be the abuse of some that will affect others.

Mine on uphold was easy down. But then again only my laptops are connected and i don't use them best as much as my phone.
Phone shows 16 bat, but that's probably for 2 months. I don't track it like i should.
My phone doesn't send me any bat 🙄🙄🙄 hopefully someday...
Hopefully there were many who managed to take advantage of this referral program, unfortunately I was not able to do so but I hope that for the next referral program I will get some for myself and hopefully earn some rewards.
I think they would launch another program next year, we just have to wait an see.
