Few Things about Ethereum
- It is the largest blockchain platform used for gaming, decentralized finance and non-fungible tokens.
- It was first discovered by a teenage programmer, Vitalik Buterin in 2013.
- It was originated from a cryptocurrency called ether.
- Ethereum was launched on the 30th of July, 2015 making it 14 years old.
*The Ethereum virtual machine (EVM) helps to carry out its smart contacts or transactions. - It is acquired by mining, buying on different exchanges it has been listed on; can also be securely stored in wallets.
- The Blockchain platform is able to operate and interact between different decentralized applications.
- As at 15th if January, 2025, Ethereum spot ETF recorded a total net inflation of more than $59 million dollars.

Whether we like it or not, one of the things that I am so certain of is the fact that in years to come, Ethereum might dethrone bitcoin
