Is utopia in times of uncertainty an impossible dream or a guide for the future?
The complexity with which many of us have to live, pushes us to have an approach where the challenges should not be obstacles to keep moving forward, however we could have a guide that may not be so credible.
Although it may seem impossible, we must model our actions towards a way where the current society seeks to be more perfect, I know it is a utopia, it seems like a dream to think that the society in which we live can be transformed into a perfect society, and when we really see our actions as human beings, we end up realizing that this utopia is increasingly farther from reality.
There are various political, economic and philosophical currents that gave us the idea of the utopian, and as time went by we saw how everything was really utopian, because we have not been able to see substantial changes that make us think that we have really reached a high level of humanism where societies are fairer and more equal.
Is utopia an obsolete concept or is it still a valuable tool for thinking about the future?
The obsoleteness of things is given by mankind to concepts and theories, but really good ideas are always there, but their incorrect application makes us see them as obsolete as time goes by, when the reality is that the only thing that is obsolete is our way of thinking.
The utopia so dreamed but always alive as a philosophical basis for building a more just and balanced society, can make the human being build a future where inequalities come to be reduced by a considerable percentage.
