Healing the soul by being connected to nature
Being connected to nature is good because it is a connection to our well being.
On the occasions that I connect with nature I feel a peace and tranquility, getting away from the sound of cars and focusing my mind on the sound of the animals that inhabit the countryside, focusing my well-being in these aspects and in the fresh air is what has allowed me to discern the importance of this type of connections.
The contact we can have with nature can even have a scientific explanation that goes from what our brain perceives and how it manifests in our body, this type of connection makes our cortisol levels go down, cortisol is a hormone secreted by the body and is also called the stress hormone, so if we manage to lower the levels of this hormone, we stretch lowering stress levels as well.
If in the end this type of connection with nature is what makes us happy, then most likely when we connect with nature we will secrete serotonin and dopamine which are neurotransmitters that are associated with happiness, pleasure and well-being.
If science explains in a clear and convincing way how our body can lower stress levels and be happier, then it is time for every human being to connect more with their natural environment, where trees abound and the natural environment is relaxing and provides us with the wellbeing that we all need.
It is very necessary that we always learn to heal from the soul no matter how the past might have been. We should actually let it go and face the present that is actually at our very front
