Seeing With New Eyes
I have come to discover that when you change your perspective and start to see things differently, you will begin to draw more inspiration and motivation from them. This is why, even where you have been familiar with, there is a way you will re-imagine it by looking differently at it, and it will appear different and even inspiring. You will be surprised how a lot of people search far and wide for inspiration, and some even think that it may come from exotic places or from remarkable people. However, some of the most amazing and powerful motivators lie right before them but hidden in plain sight. One of the major challenges of a lot of people is not that they lack inspiration, but they have become so familiar with the world around them that it has begun to lose value. This is why you have to learn to see the world with new eyes.

Seeing with new eyes means changing your perspective and looking at what you are already familiar with from a different angle. I remember a particular scenario that occurred some years ago. There was this chair which which one of my friends gave to me. So I kept the chair in the house and it was used as just ordinary chair. To me, it was just a piece of furniture. After a long while of using the chair as just a furniture, a wood artist came visiting. When he saw the chair, he was marvelled. He explained to me how that chair was an amazing piece of art crafted from a very rare wood. He went further to talk about the insane creativity and skills that were put in place to craft it. After that encounter, I started looking at the chair differently. The same chair, but because I had a change of perception, the value I had for it increased.
In life, the places you pass through, the people you meet daily, even your environment itself all have lessons to teach. However, you may not be able to draw these lessons and these influences until you begin to value them. Trust me, anything that happens normally has layers of extra meanings that you can derive from them apart from what you can see peripherally. More often than not, the benefits you derive from something is a direct function of the value you place on it. That is, when you begin to see something differently, the value you attach to it will also change.
There is something that I normally observe from kids and I have drawn lessons from them. Children normally find wonder in little things. I visited one of my friends ove the course of last week and I observed one of the kids staring at the crack on the wall of the fence. I went close and asked him why he was looking at the crack, then what he told me surprised me. He told me; "Uncle, this is not just a crack, look at the pattern, it looks like a man holding an arrow and shooting at an imaginary creature." At first I did not see the pattern, but when he said it, I looked again and again, and indeed, it was actually looking like a man with an arrow. I was surprised. The little boy also went further to explain a couple of imaginary things from the pattern that wowed me. The same thing that others saw as a crack, he saw layers of other meanings from it.

In order to discover more in life, you have to learn to have more sense of curiosity. Trust me, there are more things that happen around you that you do not even have an idea of. As a matter of fact, things are not as ordinary as you think, so look beyond the ordinary. This is why, the solution to a challenge may not even be far-fetched from the challenge, but might be right within the challenge itself. Everyday you live, you are opened to a whole new possibilities. Some of these possibilities may be hidden in plain sight, and some may be covered in challenges. It is your perception that will determine whether you will see the possibilities and the opportunities, or if you will only see challenges. Do not be limited by how you see things. Always learn to see things differently - from different points of view and perceptions.
Thanks for reading
It's amazing how the point of view changes as time goes by.
That's right. Thanks friend
