The Unspeakable Dinner
She smiled so bright, "Dinner is set!"
He took one sniff—started to sweat.
A bubbling pot, a mystery smell,
His stomach knew… this won’t end well.
She watched him close, with hopeful eyes,
He faked a grin—oh, what a prize!
He took a bite, chewed real slow,
His taste buds screamed, "No! No! No!"
"Amazing, dear!" he forced a smile,
(Inside, his tongue was on trial.)
She beamed with pride, "Oh, have some more!"
His soul whispered, "Please, no more!"
But love, my friend, is brave and bold,
So he ate on, though the food was cold.
For some battles, you cannot win,
Especially when your wife’s in the kitchen! 😂🍽️🔥
