The axiom you mention is certainly profound, it focuses on the intangible and things that cannot be touched or seen with the naked eye usually exceed the capabilities of most people, this works because we are generally oriented to sink and engross ourselves in superficiality, I would say, for example: "who only sees the beauty of the flower will not be able to reach your heart".
It is part of living, it is that third eye that oriental philosophies speak of and that we are unable to decipher.
