Oh yes here is the post I am waiting for.
Woah that's many things to keep in mind when going on adventure, especially if are really hungry and have no source of food. But well as you said better hungry than sick.
Not gonna lie the one that looks like an onion is really confusing for anyone, and with this many poisonous plants and leaves someone need to be very careful when dealing with them.
I'm now more curious to know what should I expect to see in the desert, yes I know that I can barely find any plants but well it's worth it to search since most parts of Jordan are deserts.

Yeah, pretty much all plant life is regional. Meaning each region, based on topography and climate can produce unique edible and poisonous plants. Like cactus is indigenous to the Americas, but it can be found in other parts of the world where they have imported them.
I'm going to cover edible desert plants in a week or two. I have to get through temperate and tropical plants first.
