"We must be grateful for life, but permanently nonconformist." Juan Diego Gómez.

Hello community, I hope you are all having a great week, greetings. I suppose that the title caught your attention, and that you might agree some of you with what was raised, others might not, and it is normal, however, I would like to invite you to read to the end so that you understand my point in this aspect in relation to the sentence I share in this opportunity.

I would like to clarify that the author of this is a very important investor of Colombian origin, and he is a youtuber with more than 1.2 million followers, so, his statements and advice have a great support based on personal experience. Well, this phrase that I have grabbed from him, I share it because I think it is very important, and then I will explain why.

We all want more things, to be successful in different areas of our life, that is normal, it is not to be criticized, but there are those who may think that being nonconformist is bad, and it is not entirely so, we are fortunate to have a good state of health or to have a roof to live under and be able to eat, that is something we should be grateful for, without a doubt, but, if we become conformist we may reach a point of stagnation that is not beneficial at all.

Let me explain, we have many possibilities to advance, to grow in everything we propose as long as we want it, but, being satisfied with a certain thing can make us not to look for more, and this is the problem.

Let's say you have a Youtube channel with 50,000 followers, you should be grateful for that, of course you should, but considering the amount of people we live in the world, we should not be satisfied with that number we have, because we know we can have many more, do I explain the point?.

Or if we take this platform, HIVE, as a point of reference we could say that if you have a 100,000 Hive power, which is a great amount, it is good to be grateful for it, but nevertheless, you can be unconformed because your goal is much higher than that amount, the important thing here and that I want to highlight is that we should always be grateful and enjoy the much or little that we have, but always know that we can go for much more.

I bid you farewell, hoping your week is going very well.

Thank you for reading my post.

You cannot be a conformist or a non-conformist, but it is better to be the latter than the former, because success is achieved by persevering people and not by those who adapt but do not seek disruptive solutions that take them out of the passive state in which they find themselves. We must always want more because the demands grow and if we stop, the train will run over us.

hello @josevas217,
life is a gift that is given to us at birth, but life alone is not enough for the human being, that is why people want to achieve to live as many experiences in life as possible, one of the speakers I admire said "learn from trees that grow as much as they can grow in their lifetime and not just half of their potential", as people we must be better every day and being better does not depend on a quantity

Hello dear friend @josevas217

Being grateful for everything we have achieved in life, allows us to see adverse situations as opportunities that we can crystallize without conforming, when you refer to be permanently nonconformist to avoid falling into stagnation, it is a valid position because many times we tend to reach a point of comfort where we stop moving forward, mistakenly believing that we have reached our stability. Excellent article from a reflective point of view.

Best regards, be well.

I agree my friend, the idea is to be grateful to God first and then with life itself for allowing us to be alive, however we must be nonconformist to achieve certain proposed goals that can help us achieve success.

Greetings @josevas217 and thanks for sharing this excellent post.

I totally agree. I once read that we should not be conformist, but we could be conformist. Conformity is to understand that we cannot do anything about what is happening (even if we want to), on the other hand, conformism is not fighting while being able to do more. It is to stick to things and not aspire to more.

Excellent phrase and reflection that you share with us. Thank you.

With love, Sam.

I sincerely love this point, we truly have so many things to be grateful about, a sound health amongst others but staying too comfortable will definitely result in stagnation, I really wish more people will understand the point that it is never a crime to desire more.

Well said. I think they should always be a difference between been grateful and been contented

Hello @josevas217 I agree with you, we must be grateful for everything we have today, in this way we will be using the energy very well to receive even more things to be grateful for...greetings!
