I do not share your opinion, since there is a lot of written material on this subject and we must remember that the US experienced the industrial depression of the 19th century and the economic, financial and banking crisis of the 30's as well as the mortgage crisis of the 90's and during all of them, the figure of the American dream was only reinforced after it recovered from said crises.
