California is one of the wealthiest state of the USA. It is famous for Hollywood film Industry but this time is is in news for its devastating widefires which has killed almost a dozen people and number may grow in the future as and when fires increase.

California state has particularly dry climate which makes its forests vulnerable to fires. Each year property equivalent to billions of USD is lost in such fires there. But, this time this is the worst case I think. According to NBC news this fire has killed 16 people so far and has engulfed 37000 ares area in greater Los Angels city famous for Hollywood. Oh God! Please save the people.

Many scientists believe that this area has a history of wildfires which has aggravated due to climate change. We know that increasing humans activities, burning of fossil fuel, deforestation and other factors are responsible for climate becoming worse each year. Scanty rainfall in such areas are also encouraging wildfire to spread in larger areas. This winter season was drier and also gusty wind flowing towards this reason had prepared a devastating plan which caused so much damage.

Climate change is definitely a factor but the possibility of conspiracy cannot be overruled easily. Usually wildfires there are common in summers from May to October. But it happened during winters. This is the peak time of winters in the Northern Hemisphere. Hence, chances of wildfires should have been low. I don't know why it happened and how and when will it end. But I am worried about so many innocent people, animals and birds who have lost their lives and shelters. May God help them all!

This is a high time for all us to think about our planet and its health. Why are we cutting forests in the name of development? Why are we giving importance to money instead of preserving natural habitats? I am nothing before the powerful people. I am not consuming so much resources. So, the people like me are not responsible for the destruction of our environment. Rich people must realize their responsibilities. Rulers should have act wisely.
