Despite its outstanding utility in the military service I believe that this technology has had a positive impact in the civilian area, agriculture has benefited from the use of drones to evaluate huge cultivated areas, I have also seen them used to make topographic reconnaissance in areas of difficult access, and certainly its most notable example is the flight of a drone on Mars to program the route to be followed by the rover on the ground.
