IS EDUCATION STILL THE KEY TO SUCCESS??

in Project HOPE3 years ago (edited)

That's one of the mentality I grew up knowing of that education is the key to success and yes I grew up so much believing in that philosophy. Quite still true to an extent but the more I look at the economy nature of the world most especially my country Nigeria I still
Wonder whether what I have been told in my childhood days is still very much true

The truth of the matter is I am getting disturbed with a lot of people losing interest in educational sector. I mean teenagers now and it is not actually their fault. It is the nature of the economy of the country.

Imagine a graduate with both the master and PhD certificate still unable to find job in the country after the years been used in the school. After passing through all the obstacles and hurdles to come out with flying colours only to be rendered jobless

I have seen some people eventually even regretting going to school and some confessing actually if they had know going to school will not have made them have job, they will rather have started perhaps business or some other venture to pop in instead of wasting all this year's schooling whereas there is nothing to later show up for it.

Younger generations that are looking upto their senior brothers and sisters who have graduated from school with some with multiple certificate and with distinction in their various results but still unable to find a job

It is quite disheartening you know and this is troubling a lot of people out there. A lot to the extent some of the younger generations are already giving up on education. Some are just going for the sake to please the desire of their parents or their guilder who is sending them to school

And that's why you see those younger generations no more effective in school and not putting all their effort and passion in what they are studying in school. This is disheartening and the economy not even only in Nigeria but also in other part of the country need to do something to it

Education makes the young ones the future of tomorrow and if the young ones are losing passion in what we make them future of tomorrow, how can we have better future of tomorrow?

The younger ones need to start the world as a more better place and there should be need to start giving those younger ones hope that education is still of utmost priority to their success and what they become in life

Hi dear friend @doyoy

Education makes the young ones the future of tomorrow

when you attend school and then university you learn many things about the history of humanity, if you don't go to university the same school education helps you a lot to face life decisions in adult life

god bless you

Very well said. There are some things we will not learn if we didn't go to school and which education opens the door to it

Hi @doyoy education is one of the most influential factors in the advancement and progress of individuals and societies. In addition to providing knowledge, education enriches culture, spirit, values and everything that characterizes us as human beings. Education is necessary in every sense.

Yes. Education is still very much necessary. Just that a lot of people are beginning to lose the passion of education. Education is still the key
