While this concept may sound really weird, it was an idea that Friedrich Nietzsche talked about. He was famously quoted, "For believe me! — the secret for harvesting from existence the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment is: to live dangerously!"

Many great entrepreneurs, including Elon Musk have talked that people should take more risks. Mark Zuckerberg is known for his famous quote, "The biggest risk is not taking any risk... In a world that is changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks."

That means that Friedrich Nietzsche, Elon Musk, and Mark Zuckerberg - are all saying the very same thing, which is taking risks. And if you're a risk taker, then you're someone who knows how to live dangerously, and capitalize on opportunities with courage.

The problem is that most people are afraid and shy, they don't want to do anything dangerous. But when you look at the people who are celebrated as successful people in the society - these are the people risking so much every single day.

How can you want their success and not accept the risks that go with it? If you're always acting without courage and boldness, many great opportunities may pass you by. But those who live dangerously, and understand how to take calculated risks, will tend to become the successful ones in the end.
