Time paradoxes are unsolved, travel in time seems totally impossible. I love science fiction but hate time travel stories in which authors pretend to forget this.

Many inventions of sci-fi authors in the past got reality (travel to the moon, submarines, robots, etc.) Or we are moving towards it (Mars-travel).

But no sign of any steps nearing time-travel.
