RE: Will the energy transition be impossible without the presence of fossil fuels?
Hi @carlos84
Topics related to energy transition and current energy crisis got me very interested lately. So I was very happy to bump into your publication. Upvoted already/
So far we've witnessed huge problem: lack of sufficient infrastructure, which could replace old ways (energy coming from fossil fuels). It's resulting with black-outs happening in some places, and electricity bills increasing rapidly almost all over the world.
Most likely many countries will pull back from current path. Example: China is already reversing their restrictions and moving back to old ways of creating energy.
I can easily see scenario, in which goverments one after another would be "forced" to back down on their initial goals and entire program would lose it's momentum. After all, lack of infrastructure is not an easy issue to be fixed. And people in millions will display their lack of satisfaction. Blaming local leaders. Not EU administration. And those politics and local leaders will often find themself between rock and hard place.
ps.
I would like to take this opportunity and ask you to check out recent post published on @project.hope (explaining our project economy)
Cheers, Piotr
Hello friend, certainly the current demand for energy has caused countries that have renewable and clean energy generation projects are retreating to the generation of energy derived from fossil fuels, thus losing the momentum with which it came. However, we must wait for new technological proposals to see the possible progress of clean and renewable energies in the near future.
Greetings and thanks for sharing your impressions in this post.
