What can be considered a good obsession for our life?

When we become obsessed with something in life we think it is bad, however to become obsessed means to be persevering, it is to have a constant and incessant search about something that we are passionate about, then it is not the obsession that is bad, what can be bad is that something in which we are obsessed, therefore if we know how to choose well what we are going to pursue and what we are going to become obsessed, then we can say that there are elements of life that would be good for one to become obsessed.

A good way to become obsessed is that we can dedicate ourselves intensely to create things that we like and that can leave a legacy of life for other people, for example an athlete can be obsessed in some sport, but it is for good because he wants to be the best, and apart from that he is going to give a show that people like.

There are various forms of art in which it is worth seeing people obsessed with painting, singing, composing music, scientists are obsessed with working harder and harder in laboratories to prove and demonstrate theories that in the future will serve the future of humanity.

A good obsession is not only that in which we intensify our efforts only for our own welfare, although it is true that we can grow personally while our obsession and passion is the dedication to art, to work, however that must also be accompanied by the benefit of the great masses, the great artists, athletes and scientists leave an exemplary legacy, so that everyone who comes behind can be inspired and be great too.

Obsession is good when we feel that what we do intensely does not negatively affect our life or that of other people, therefore we realize that our obsession is good when we see that a whole environment grows and is enriched by our efforts including ourselves.

So when another person calls you a fanatic and passionate, do not listen to him, just remain obsessed as long as what you do is to improve yourself as a person and to enrich the environment around you.
