Greetings friends!

I have witnessed only a few things on blockchain based social media dapps. Splinterlands (formerly splinterlands) is one of such dapp which had benefitted me in the past but this was the story of the older time when it was a great game. Nevertheless, sometimes strange things happen in life which surprizes us.

Last week a funny thing happened that amazed me. You can see in the above screenshot yourself how things turned in a dramatic way for me. I purchased a gladiator card pack and when I opened it, I has a golden card. I burnt that card and got merit tokens in exchange. Then purchased card pack from merit and a golden card appeared which I burnt and again got merit and so on. In short I purchased four card packs in this way. At last I was able to get more cards and also combined a few cards to reach higher level. That was very funny and also very exciting for me. It benefitted me, though I can't sell or place those cards on rent as they are soulbound. But, something is better than nothing you know.
