Hello people. I hope you are well. On 25th June, 2022 Phaneero held a women conference. This conference is held each year where women meet up and share nuggets of wisdom. It is free to attend and this year it was held at Kololo Airstrip. The gates were open and midday and that is the time I arrived. Surprisingly seats at the front were already taken as people had booked seats prior.
We were informed where the food was being sold, where the washrooms were and we were told the starting time would be 3:00pm. I booked my seat and sat. It started drizzling and the drops kept on getting heavier. I walked away and sat in the bleachers where there was a roof to cover our heads from the rain. I eventually got up and went to look for something to eat. I got some sausages and soda as I had eaten heavy breakfast.
Praise and Worship was started which was amazing as even musicians came and sung. It was fun as people sung along to the songs. The main speakers arrived and the session kicked off. It was very interesting and truthfully I really enjoyed listening to Mrs. Katana. She said that to get balance in life one has to first of all their identity. This identity is supposed to come from God. God should be the first in the hierarchy in literally everything we do.
Questions were asked and she answered and she got her answers using her experience. Eventually it was turning dark and a sermon was given then we prayed and set off for home. I felt blessed to have attended.
