Hello Steemians, hope you are all doing great as iam. Let's talk music today. I woke up early today and had prayers with my family after which I went ahead to prepare breakfast and lunch. All this while, I was listening to music. Music is like a drug; it is addictive, it's good. It takes away the pain, it makes life seem so easy. When I have some heavy work to do, I choose a playlist a listen to music and somehow the mountain of work seems so little. I cannot go through the day without listening to music...that just can't happen 😂😂
Music gives me a break from the world...helps me escape from the harsh realities of life for a split second. We all have our kind of music that we love. Some love hip-hop, reggae, pop, trap name it. I especially love hip-hop, a bit of country and K-pop.
We all have that one song that we love to listen to when we are happy, one for when we are sad or lonely, and we all have a pick-me-up song. Mine is called SUNNY DAY by Akon featuring Wyclef Jean. It was released in 2008 when Akon released his album; FREEDOM.
It is one thing to just listen to music, it's another thing to listen and understand the lyrics of the music.
As I was sorting out my playlists today, I took my time to listen to the lyrics of sunny day. It's a really nice song to listen to if you are having a hard time. Allow me share some of it's lyrics😊

Often we look for answers that we might not find as soon as we would have hoped. We find ourselves stuck in situations and feel like things are not going well for us. We might sometimes even think that we will never come out of such situations. But we forget that situations are temporary and that hard times are meant to test us. Everything has a beginning and an end and at some point, we shall have our sunny day.
