Hello My Dear Little Witches...

Photographing butterflies with my phone is really a great challenge, especially because you have to get very close, as the zoom doesn't allow me to get great details, however, I have been lucky enough to get some butterfly collaborators and they allow me to get close to them to take a few pictures.

I found this little friend yesterday afternoon on a little basil plant. I was struck by how peaceful she was and how small she was, she must have been a little more than a centimeter long, unfortunately I did not manage to capture a view of her open wings. This little one is a specimen of Ostrinotes Halciones, and from the information I found it seems to be a male, since they tend to have brown or blue wings on top, unlike the females that have a delicate light blue, however both females and males have their wings on the bottom (which is the face that shows us this little one) of a light gray or pale brown.

They can be found in countries with tropical climates which makes it possible for me to have these little ones hanging around my garden, I really hope to see them with their wings open and above all be able to photograph them. Definitely where we have plants we can always observe beauty, and without a doubt the butterflies are among the best.

There are thousands, maybe millions, of butterfly pictures, and better than these a lot, but these are mine and I wanted to show them to you, because even though I'm not a photographer, I like to share the images I manage to capture, and if in addition to this I give you some information that might be relevant, it's something I love. Happy day to you all!

Butterflies are an example of life, we must be in constant evolution and transformation to adapt to our environment!

Hola Mis Queridos Brujitos...!

I super agree @fmbs25. Taking butterfly photographs using a phone is very challenging. I also had a butterfly "visitor" the other week at our garden and it took me about 10 minutes to get a decent shot using my phone. I constantly scare it away once I became closer, so I was chasing it back and forth.

You did a good job! You captured it beautifully! 😍
