This was basically the majority of Steem posts until the EIP, glad things are changing. These actions now are just that last piece of the tail of stubborn abusers wanting to continue collecting their stake without providing anything of value and they seem very desperate to do so. Too bad this will be their own undoing as they will now have the majority of the community after them and other users countering their malicious retaliation downvotes.

I'll give it a few months and they'll be powering down onto other accounts through exchanges.
