Hello steemit, after I studied material about steemit account security on the Newcommers Program. i am very excited about what i learned and i will answer some questions regarding steemit account security.

Question 1
Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

A lot of research said that password is the most important thing in system. More complicated password you made, more secure your account or system so hackers cannot easily access or break your account. To prevent this, steemit provides the system that can generate random password called keys. This key is divided into 5 keys each of the master key, owner key, active key, posting key, and memo key. But you should save your key, because you cannot request a new key (but you can change it, if you have your master key).

Question 1
Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

As i mention before, steemit will give you 5 keys, each key has its own function for your account, read this carefuly because this is important.

MASTER PASSWORD

When you complete registration, Steemit will automatically generate a master password. This password is used to create several other keys needed to access your account. Please pay attention, save and remember this password, because if you forget it, your account will be lost. Trust me you don't want everything you get on Steemit just disappear. Remember this :
1. First Rule: Don't loose your password. 2. Second Rule: Don't loose your password. 3. Third Rule: We cannot retrieve your password 4. Fourth Rule: If you can remember your password, it is not safe. 5. Fifth Rule: Use only randomly created passwords. 6. Sixth Rule: Don't tell anyone your passwords. 7. Seventh Rule: Always backup your passwords.

POSTING KEY

Just like the name of the key, This key is used to log into applications such as Steemit which can make posts, votes or comments. This key is a license so that the application can make posts to your account but cannot access some features such as wallets and make transactions.

MEMO KEY

This key is used to send memos or messages secretly so that the contents of the message are not easily read. To read the message body, you or the recipient will need this key

ACTIVE KEY

This key is a very important key apart from the master key, because only with this key you can make transactions from your wallet. if you want to send, power up or down steem and steem power you really need this account

OWNER KEY

It is used to change every other keys including the owner key. It is highly recommended not to give this key to anyone as your account can be taken over. also save it in your real wallet because you will need this key to recovering a compromised account.

Question 3
How do you plan to keep your master

After i made my account, I store my password keys in a private storage that only I have the access. I also save this password and keys to the second storage just in case one day I forget how to access one of the storages.

Question 4
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another

This is how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account u want to send 5. Next to "Amount" field, you can change the token that you want to send 6. In the "Memo" field, enter a massage that you want to say

Question 5
Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

This is how to power up your STEEM? 1. First you need to login using your active key. 2. Then you go to wallet, in the steem amount you can select "Power Up". 3. And then you can choose how much you want to power up your steem power.

Its all i can share to all of you, i hope you can enjoy my post about steemit security system and be careful be safe.
