Achievement 2 Task: Basic Security on Steem byogbosico5

Happy weekend to all steemit members, it is my pleasure to be among this moving train organization called Steemit.

My first post achievement 1 has been approved by steemit and I am very grateful to the steemit team who made my first post verified and much gratitude to my mentor by @josepha who helped Coach me and assist me for the verification and thank you for accepting me in this platform my two weeks experience on this platform is really exciting. I regularly search for new idea to know more about steemit and to contribute my quota. Today I will like to share with you the experience of steemit basic security in this achievement two(2) task.

Basic Security on steemit.
Security is one of the most curious/ important things to keep something safe in the greeters team and at large so that no one can harm your data and stuff like personal privacy if security is good enough then no one will harm your privacy.when we talk about key unlike the padlock we used to lock our houses : padlock are detachable locks that normally incorporate a u- shaped bar that's hinged at one end and designed to be passed via an opening of a hasp or a link in a chain to protect against unauthorized use, theft, vandalism or harm, as world become civilized new technology of different kinds of padlock emerge due to high level of vandalism and theft occurs in individual privacy, but in the case of steemit is like knowing the place to store or safe your master password unlike Bluetooth key.

• Though the steemit security is extremely good and I like this thing extensively. Let's talk about some important steemit security keys. The following are types that I will discuss below.

posting key🔑

With this posting key we can post, we can redeem, mute or follow on steemit, for all the above-mentioned things we must have a posting key without a posting key it's not working,

So therefore it's important for posting, following, and esteem stuff like that.

2 ****Active key** 🔑 **

In this active key, we can transfer funds, vote for witnesses, and the important thing converting steem dollars, and also doing profile updating factors and even markets placing orders.

Though the active key is necessary for the above-mentioned things without it is impossible, you don't have to do such activities.

3 Private owners key 🔑

The private owner key is the most important key from all over the keys.

If something occurs to our account we can use this key to retrieve it.

The most important thing is it is used for recovering all the other keys as well.

4 Memo key 🔑

This is Basically used for encrypting and decrypting memos.

****5 Master key🔑 ****

This Master key is basically used for generating all accounts keys 🔑

From the security prospects, It's the most important and powerful key,

If anyone who knows my account password and it consists of all of the token keys,

I saved the master key into my laptop, handbook as well as phone safely,

Because it's the most important key.

Protection of the (Master key) is the most important part of the steem accounts.

And I safely saved it I hope I will never ever lose it.

How do I transfer my steem token to another steem user account?

The steps are as follows :

Click here the down arrow which is next to the number of Steem tokens clenched in one's wallet section, again click on the transfer in their dropdown box.

Then enter the receiver name, tokens amount, and memo to click on next if someone wants.

Then in this 3rd step enter a memo if you want to get it, then click on the confirmation screen and go to okay for confirmation.

How to power up steem:

For PowerUp, we should go to use the same dropdown box as for the transfer next to the steem number, Select Power Up, enters the number of steem, and click Power Up.

What is the different between Master Password and Owner Key?

Master Password is used to generate all the other keys, including the Owner Key. The only reason you should ever really be using your Master Password is when you are going through the account recovery, in which case you should be retrieving the Master Password from your safe storage. The Master Password is the password you get upon signing up. You should then take that password, go to your Steemit.com wallet, retrieve all the other keys, and only use those keys going forward.

The Master Password

Steemit generates your master password for you after you complete the registration process. It is imperative that you keep this password offline in a safe place. Write it down and never lose it. If you lose it, it cannot be recovered. The private owner key, or master password, gives you access to all functions of your account, so you never want to share it with anyone. I repeat, do not share this password. Write it down and keep it in a safe place. Don't store it online or in a password manager. Keep it offline if at all possible. The only time you should ever consider using it in a browser is for your very first login to Steemit or to reveal your active key on the Permissions page.

In summary: Your master password can authorize all actions associated with your account, but you should use it as little as possible and never share it. Use your private active and posting keys instead.
