Plagiarism can also be said to be taking other people's work without informing or asking for permission and pretending to publish it as your own without actually indicating the main source of the work.
we stand in the shoulders of others and we are required to give credits to the original owner or creator of the work.that you claim to be yours.

Some examples of plagiarism
1: paraphrasing a sentence from someone else's work without the main source.
2: presenting an entire article written by someone else and pretending or claiming it's yours.
3:taking a copy of other people's design without their consent.
There are four common types of plagiarism namely.
1:Direct plagiarism:this can be defined as directly copying someone else work without any contribution from your self and also without inputting the original source.
2:Self plagiarism:this could be seen as copying or inputting a previous work that has been given to you before into the recent one.
3:Mosaic plagiarism: this can be seen as a case where the plagiarist have mentioned the original source but did not acknowledge to put a quotation Mark.
4:Accidental plagiarism:this can be seen as when a plagiarist misquotes the sentence that was taken from a article or design.
Ways to avoid plagiarism
1:you have to make good research about a project given before carrying out your publishment or article.
2:you have to be able to understand paraphrasing and how to make use of it in your article.
3: when you copy a work that it's not yours make sure you put a cite to the original source of the article.
4:make use of a quoted Mark to indicate a copied work.
