7 TYPES OF MARKDOWN APPLICATION

D5C3B65C-6B25-4154-AE52-54D3370BBB71.png

1. CREATING HEADERS

Headers are known for their unique formatting in content creations. The true beauty of a well organized writing relies on a well structured headings and sub-headings.
This means that “Header” has to varies from step to step just like the Headers are best expressed in coding as H1, H2, H3,...
See the below screenshot code example to understand how it’s fully coded;

924B11E4-7023-4B5D-9F51-2C5F55F37370.jpeg

In calculation, “6” is greater than “1” but in coding it’s the opposite, this means the higher the number of the #tag, added before the header determines how small the header will appear.
Below is the result gotten from the above screenshot coding example!

Header 1

Header 2

Header 3

Header 4

Header 5
Header 6

I believe with the explanation and coding we understood how we can perfectly achieve any header or sub-header variation to structure our content.

2. CENTRALIZING YOUR TEXT

In writing, having good headings or sub-headings can go a long way giving more beauty to your contents. At times, your heading or sub-heading needs to appear or be at the center of your content and that can be achieved by applying the markdown code shown below on my screenshot example;

FC5D9281-F5B7-4E29-B182-3E5BB7C732F5.png

By placing my text in between the open and close center coding gives me this:

I LOVE STEEMIT

as my output which is the final result of my coding.
You choose your text according to your content just as I choose mine because I truly Love Steemit.

3. BOLDING YOUR TEXT

Over the years of Data Procession, Text Bolding has been popularly known for its exceptional isolation.
In writing, “TEXT BOLDING” plays a very vital role by giving confidence and stamina to any word it’s attached to empowering a word or group of words to captivate the readers attention as an important or most important factor of the content.
Below is the coding screenshot example of how you can apply BOLD to your content.

8FEDCC1F-CDB1-4974-A456-3A51074C1313.png

Putting the “**” tag before and after my text gives me this as an output;

LETS BOLD UP THE STEEMIT BLOCKCHAIN FOR A BETTER TOMORROW

Aside from using text BOLDING to indicate important lines of words in writing, it’s also used for as a “Call To Action Button” in most cases.

4. JUSTIFYING YOUR TEXT

Just as the word implies “Justifying”
This markdown helps to share the spacing of a given content equally, giving a unique and exceptional formatting to the given lines of words.
See the code screenshot example for text justification below;

5AB3A38B-5FF4-476A-A6E2-5BCF2EB2F834.png

By insetting my texts in the middle or in between the upper open div class and lower closing div class, I have this as the result;

Justified Text Result

We all just have to do what’s right at the right time cause it doesn’t matter how many times we try to do it the wrong wrong way it won’t ever become right, No! Not at anytime soon and won’t for any reason becomes right. That’s why we need to put a pause to it and make a u-turn at one point before it’s too late.

Unjustified Text Result

We all just have to do what’s right at the right time cause it doesn’t matter how many times we try to do it the wrong wrong way it won’t ever become right, No!
Not at anytime soon and won’t for any reason becomes right.
That’s why we need to put a pause to it and make a u-turn at one point before it’s too late.

  • At this point, you can clearly see the difference between the justified and unjustified content.
    In the justified content, the texts are arranged end to end per row while it’s not the same on the unjustified content.

5. ALIGN TEXT IN TWO CELLS

This is another important markdown you need to know when you are creating a content. It’s most likely used as a translator which enable an author to write in more than one language on the same content field but different cells.
See code screenshot example below;

4937BABC-E399-4D95-A18F-68586C930E5F.jpeg

SPANISH: Dar un paso adelante es la única forma de triunfar en Steemit. Cada Blockchain tiene una altura a la que debes atender antes de poder tener éxito y eso solo se puede lograr mejorando tu juego. ¡Decidí tener éxito!

ENGLISH:
Taking a step forward is the only way to succeed on Steemit.
Every Blockchain has an height of which you need to attend before you can succeed and that can only be achieved by stepping up your game.
I Determined To Succeed!

  • I choose to translate my content in Spanish and insert it in between the open and close div class, where it says “insert your tex here” on the coding screenshot example.

59B11F61-213F-40F8-BCD0-7B0BE6587328.png

6. SOURCE CITATION

As I result that we make uses of photos and other materials that’s not originally ours, it’s then becomes a necessity that we must reference the original owner of those piece of material in our contents by giving a proper citation to where the piece of information, image, terms are gotten from.
Below is a code screenshot example of a image Source Citation.

78CDC719-A2AA-4140-BE7E-69AF0380978F.png

After uploading your image, at the end of the image code do the following;

  • Open a square bracket [
  • Type in Image Source
  • Close the square bracket ]
  • Open a parentheses (
  • Paste your Image Url
  • Close the parentheses )

The image Below is the result of my code screenshot example.

7. CREATING A TABLE

Below is a way to create a Table using the Steemit Markdowns. Table structuring in content creation is often used to break contents into different regions, so as to enable them give a clear and easily accessible factor to the content formation.
In my own case I chose to create a table with 3 columns and 5.
Below is the code screenshot example of my table creation.

C4250557-0E5E-4290-8F30-1638D2D4D13C.png

This table comes as a result of the above coding on the screenshot example. Here is the Result I get from my coding;

S/N Plants Animals
1. Cassava Lion
2. Plantain Cat
3. Orange Goat
4. Mango Elephant
