Achievement-1: Introducing Myself On Steemit

Hello and greetings to my Steemit family, I am David Essien a humble native of Essien Udim Local government area in Akwa Ibom State.

MY FAMILY

I am the first born in the family of 5 (my parents included). I also doubled as a first son to my parents since we are 2 boys and 1 girl.

MY EDUCATIONAL LIFE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Since I was brought up in Calabar from a young age, I started my primary and Secondary School over there. After obtaining my SSCE certificate in Hope Waddell Training Institute, I had to apply for Nigerian universities for admission into tertiary education. Fortunately, I got admission into the University of Uyo to study Quantity survey. Because of that, I had to come to Uyo and live with my Uncle to cut transportation expenses to and fro.

MY HOBBIES

I am a person who sees life as an avenue to utilize what you were born with or learnt. So, I'll say my hobby is to learn new things that are essential to my life. I also love hiking because of its unwinding and refreshing effects on me. Another interesting hobby I have is that I love to write stories, documentaries, etc. Above all, I love singing especially gospel and inspirational songs. I hope to write my own songs soonest.

HOW I GOT TO KNOW STEEMIT

I got to know about Steemit from my neighbor @whizzbro4eva. Since I'm away from home pursuing my educational life, I might be lacking money which I'll call home. Whizzbro4eva told me about a platform that rewards writers which is this Steemit. I told him that I'll give it a try after I'm done with my second semester examination. So, I'm here now.

THE POSSIBLE CONTENTS I WILL BE SHARING

For me, I'll be engaged in different aspects of writing and topics. The most important thing for me is that I'll make sure I avoid plagiarism at all costs.

SUMMARY

We all know that different organizations have their rules everyone has to abide with. My neighbor was kind enough to share the rules and how to navigate through the platform. So, I hope to abide by the rules while sharing meaningful contents and connecting with other users on the platform.
