It goes thus:-

   PLAGIARISM

Question
What do you understand by the word Plagiarism
Answer
Plagiarism is the process or the imitation where by you use another person's work without citing or referencing the source of the idea you took it from .this ideas you took can be images, texts, thier creative works without giving credit to them.this act can cause a penalty because it's done without taking legal permission from the main author and it has severe consequences

I will go further to discuss about the various types of Plagiarism mostly citing out the common ones people often use now our days

TYPES OF PLAGIARISM

A)SELF PLAGIARISM : from the name we can say that it occurs when an author copies his/her own previous published content and this has caused alot of debate now our days as many people especially the journalist that are confused in the usue of copying back your previous report to rebroadcast it , so here the fact is that you are copying your old report to rebroadcast and we call it self plagiarism

B) ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM: Here ,it is when an author unintentionally copies another person's else work without knowing. This mostly happens out of negligence but the fact remains its still Plagiarism and can be deal with seriously with a penalty consequences if eventually seen by the other author.

C) DIRECT PLAGIARISM: Here it occurs when an author copies the work or the report of different articles from different authors word to word without adding any quotation marks or source and claiming it's his own work or content .this can call for a penalty with severe punishment

D) COMPLETE PLAGIARISM: This is a very serious case here as to when someone who calls him/her self a content creator steals the content of another author and write an article there and rebroadcast it fully claiming it belongs to he/she. This is what we call a severe fraud and has serious penalties

E) PARAPHRASING PLAGIARISM: Here from the name we can say it's very common in plagiarism as it involves copying another person's information from a source into your own words and retaining it's original meaning .to be precise it means making little changes about the words the main author initially use to to create his content

F)MOSAIC PLAGIARISM: This occurs only when another author copies the sentence or phrases of other authors which contains mainly ideas then join them together as one to form a new content .

From the main types of Plagiarism,I will further go deep and discuss about the effects of Plagiarism

EFFECTS OF PLAGIARISM

  • Plagiarism leads to the copyright laws against plagiarizer which is a serious problem especially in the aspect of not referencing the person of which the plagiarizer was copied from .
  • plagiarism eventualy makes a person mentally lazy to reason, think and analyze his/her own content
  • Plagiarism can cause wast of time as to when your work is accidentally identified ,it can lead to you re-starting from square one because the previous one will eventually be destroyed

We will then look at how we can do to avoid Plagiarism Bellow as I will brief you on it

HOW TO AVOID PLAGIARISM

We can avoid Plagiarism by:-

  1. properly citing out your own work as to when writing out your own content like using some words that doesn't belongs to you ,you make sure you place the full name of the source on your content.even on images ,make sure you cit out the source
  2. avoiding paraphrasing as to when writing ideas or information from a source into your own words and retaining it's original meaning.
  3. proper quotation marks by making reference to someone speech ,this endeavor your work free from plagiarism as you will become the rightful owner of your own content

CONCLUSION

I will go further to conclude that anything that is not yours in this platform or in other platforms ,you should make sure not to plagiarized it and always give clear evidence by citing or including the source or your content because plagiarism can destroy your reputation.
