After doing achievement 3 and being verified, the next achievement to do is the achievement 4 which is what I am going to be doing in this post.

Achievement 4 is talking about the guidelines on how to write properly on steemit using different markdown styles. This will enable anyone reading the post to understand it without any further explanation.

As required in this achievement 4 post, i will be listing and explaining the 5 different markdown styles I am conversant with

1.) Justify text.

This is usually used when writing an essay on steemit. It is done so that the texts will be arranged properly. And it will help readers to understand what they are reading.

This can be achieved by adding the necessary tags before the essay and at the end of the essay.

For example:

2.) Code.

This makes a text become bold or be in italic form. It is necessary in a post because they are used to emphasize a word. This can be done in two ways.

a.) The first one is done by adding one back-tick before and after the markdown syntax

For example:
Water has no taste or color >>

b.) The second one is done by adding the tags before the sentence and at the end of the sentence.

For example:
Love

3.) qoutes - Adding BlockQuotes
Since steemit doesn't support plagiarism, blockquotes is one of the best citation processes as we were thought in achievement 3

Blockquote is done by adding (>) to the front of the text

For example:

4.) Adding Links.
Adding Links to post is very necessary. Whenever a link is added to a post, it's easily recognized and easy to click on. On steemit, there are different ways you can add link to a post.

a.) When you want to add someone's username in a post on steemit, you add (@) at the beginning. This will make the username to be easily recognized and easy to click on.

For example: @katerinaramm

b.) Another way is by adding (>>) at the end of the link.
For example: https://steemit.com/@katerinaramm

c.) When you want to hide a link in a word, you add ( [ this will be an inline Link ] ) before the link. And also make sure the link is in a bracket ()

For example:
this will be an inline link

5.) Adding a subscript.
Subscript can be used when writing a note. It makes number or texts appear below the base line. It is often used when writing a botanical name such as Na2cl.

It can be achieved by adding ( < sub > ) before the text or number and also adding ( ) at the end of the text or number.

For example:
Na2cl
Na₂cl

6.) Headlines.
Headlines helps in structuring your post and also guide the eyes of the readers.
They are done by inserting a hashtag (#) symbol at the start of the row. As the number of the hashtag increases, the headline decreases in size.

For example:

Headline 6.

7.) How to align images:
You can align images at the center, at the left or the right side. And they are done as follows,
Align right:

When the image is aligned to the right, the text goes to the left beside the image.

Align left:

When the image is aligned to the left, the texts goes to the right beside the image.

Align center:

When the image is aligned to the center, the texts goes under it. Unlike when you align to the right or left, the texts goes to thier sides.
