Achievement 3: Content Etiquette // By @anthony27 /25/09/21
Plagiarism is an act of acquiring an information or idea, which may be in written form, and without giving a referral to the owner of the information or without giving due acknowledgements to the individual. This act does not demonstrate honesty, instead it promotes dishonesty.
A Plagiarist is a lazy person, someone who does not bother to work intensely with his brain and bring out personal ideas by him or herself instead he or she prefers taking other peoples idea for themselves and gaining the merit, without even thinking of giving credit to the rightful owner.
A Plagiarist never bothers to think of the feelings of the person he or she is stealing an idea from. He or She only cares about what’s in it for him. And this may hurt the rightful owner, when he or she finds out that their idea has made someone else to get merited, and they may not be able to give proof that the work is theirs.
Participating in plagiarism demeans people, it discredits them. I am suggesting that one should find real pleasure in creating their own ideas by bringing out the best out of their works.
How Can We Avoid Plaigiarism?

Make up your words and ideas personally as often as you can, this is a great way to keep your mental cognition healthy.
Do not quote the ideas of an individual in your own words without proper information as to whether the information is true or not.
Always make sure to give a link or referral to a site where a content or information came from.
- At every citations of an individuals idea in our work, we should make sure to give credit to the person. In
In conclusion, I will make sure that whatever article I write and publish here in the Steemit Blockchain Social Network originates from me. If I make any useful research from other people's work, I will give credit to them.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity to learn more about creating original content.
