Eid is still a few days away and since shopping malls get very crowded towards the end, many people find it convenient to do their Eid shopping early to avoid the rush. Shopping for my family during Eid brings me a lot of joy.

There are many shopping malls in Chittagong city, most of which are located in the central part of the city. So, instead of going too far, I decided to visit the newly opened Heaven City shopping mall, as all the renowned brands have opened their branches there.

I left home around 11 a.m. using public transport and entered the market around 12 p.m. Unlike other malls, this one didn't have a large number of shops, but the ones it had were all from famous brands. During Ramadan, customers prefer to shop at night after Iftar but I went in the morning to avoid the crowds.

First, I visited the Punjabi shops on the ground floor of the mall. It took me quite some time to buy a Punjabi and pajama for my father. After visiting a few shops, I entered the SwadeshPolli outlet. One punjabi caught my eye there. Since I was buying it for my father, I needed to choose a punjabi suitable for his age as he doesn't wear all types. Due to the new outlet's inauguration, I received a 20% discount on my purchase.

After buying clothes for my father, I travel around the mall for a while. I was observing how they had decorated the interior of the new shopping mall. The ground floor mainly had Punjabi shops and some cosmetic brand shops. Then, I went to the second floor of the mall. The entire mall was air-conditioned and there were several elevators on each floor.

Anyway, on the second floor I saw several clothing brand shops and decided to buy something for my two younger brothers. I was initially hesitant whether to buy shirts or T-shirts for them. After some thought, I decided to buy good quality polo T-shirts. After looking at a few T-shirts, I selected two. These were of very premium quality and I also bought two Rocky's jeans pants.

While doing this shopping, it was time for the noon prayer. I asked a shopkeeper and went to the sixth floor of the mall to perform my noon prayer. I still had some shopping left. After finishing the prayer, I came down to the third floor again, where various shoe brand outlets are located. I needed to buy a good pair of shoes for my father, so I went straight to the Bata outlet.

Bata is a world-renowned footwear brand, which has been a favorite brand among the people of Bangladesh for many years due to the quality of their shoes. I have bought shoes from here before and have no complaints about their quality. Especially, shoes made from genuine leather are very durable. I looked at a few pairs and selected one for my father. I made sure to properly check if the size was correct.

My shopping for the day ended there. It was almost 4 o'clock and I needed to reach home before Iftar. So, I left the shopping mall. While walking towards the public transportation stand, I came across the Iftar market. Throughout the month of Ramadan, these Iftar markets, brought various Iftar items, stand up in different areas.

I prefer to eat something healthy at Iftar. Before Iftar, it feels like I could eat everything in the world since those fasting have been abstaining for a long time. However, after eating just a little during Iftar, I don't feel like eating much more. There were many types of fried items there but I didn't take those. I bought a liter of Borhani for home, which is made from yogurt and is very good for the stomach.

Then, without further delay, I got on a vehicle to return home and arrived on time. After freshening up, I prepared Iftar with my mother for everyone in the family and after that I went to the mosque to perform my Maghrib prayer. Then I rested for a while and went to the mosque to perform Tarawih prayer. I returned around 10 p.m. and had my dinner. As of today I'm leaving here. Wish you all good health, everyone.
