Color Pallette Week 15
Here is my entry for Week 15 color Pallette competition. Thanks to @dmitrik and @olesia.
An important moment in white.
This is my son, barely visible in the snow. Behind him are a few other people disappearing completely.
In Australia skiing is very expensive so I skipped it. When my dad died, I realised I should live my life while I still can. So at an age of nearly 60, I have started to do all the things I have been putting off for someday.
With my grown-up son’s help, I decided to learn skiing. This was taken last winter. I had lessons in the morning then would slowly fall and wobble down the beginner slopes and my son would come and find me and ski with me, often skiing backwards next to me.
This was the second day and there was a” White out” cold, snow, wind, and nothing visible more than a few metres away. Most people had given up and gone for a hot chocolate. As my son was on his way he thought “Will Dad be miserable and want to go home or will he be enjoying it?”
As he came towards me, I greeted him with a happy “Woo-Hoo!” I had never been a magical world of pure white before. It reminded me of being in a Turner painting. Everything was new and exciting to me and as you get older that’s a feeling that is rare. Life is for living!
Вроде бы только 5 неделя, а не 15)))
Ah! sorry!
