SEC-S15W4: My Dream Place has everything

No matter how hard I try,

if I close my eyes, and ask myself where I love to be, no picture is shown. It is as if my dream place doesn't exist.

How can it be that a person like me, who travelled abroad can't mention one single spot to visit or to stay if given the chance, to escape from the world she is living in?

Home sweet home,

they say, but to be honest I never felt that way, I'm a tree without roots, not looking for rich soil and learned to accept that a place is just a place.
Deep inside I know, no matter where I live, hide or go it's me who's building the home of my dreams.

If the wind blows it reminds me of the sea.
The blue lagoons of Malta, the turquoise ocean of Turkey and all those palms on the island of Sicily.

As the sun drops her beams

I feel the warmth of Tunesia and walk through the Medina while I search for a seat where I can enjoy my glass of tea.
A stray cat looks shocked as I pass by, afraid I steal its food out of the garbage bin it is hiding in.

That cat reminds me of my stay in the West.

Africa. The best place to be was in the park surrounded by monkeys, gosh they are so smart and funny, I felt home immediately. If life was only that easy.
Behind my closed eyes I see the giant, hollow tree a place to hide for an entire family.

I had a dream about my former life in the woods, a small hut I had, I felt satisfied, never lonely my life was alright.
I watched him, betrayal, a death sentence because of him. I still see him standing, watching but this can't my end.

The Highlands, Scotland

will I ever be able to live on a hill, just a cat, goat, a dog and the holy crocodiles guarding my property?
Is uphill where I find the place of my dreams even if I can't see the white cliffs of Dover, smell the ocean, and will never feel the warmth of a beach again?

Is there a place of my dreams, does it exist at all or is it just the idea that far from here the grass is always greener?
Does the idea of this ideal place keep me alive or does it blur my vision if it comes to painting a picture?
