🏵️THE DIARY GAME 🏵️

I went to Bashundhara Shopping Mall suddenly without any specific plan. There wasn’t really anything to buy, I went there just to roam around.

I woke up in the morning and set off towards Bashundhara Shopping Complex. Since we had a car, I didn’t need to take a local bus. The whole family went to the shopping mall by car. On the way there, I saw a lot of traffic on the roads. In Dhaka, dealing with such traffic jams seems to have become a daily routine for people. After arriving there, we parked the car in the mall’s parking lot and got ready to enter the shopping mall. We stood there waiting to enter together.

So, in the early morning, we entered Bashundhara Shopping Mall. Once inside, I noticed the beautiful decor of the mall. The mall had been redecorated for Ramadan, and there were special discounts at each store for the occasion. The view from the upper part of the mall was very beautiful. Especially in the evening, the upper floor is illuminated with colorful lights, which enhances its beauty. Since we visited during the day, we couldn't witness that beauty.

After entering the mall, we noticed that the mobile phone shops were very crowded. With Eid approaching, buying a new mobile phone becomes a reason for many. Since Ramadan had just started, there wasn’t much crowd at the clothing stores, but most of the crowd was seen at the mobile phone shops. A few days ago, I had also bought a phone from there. Alhamdulillah, the phone is working perfectly without any issues. I also went there to check out any new brands or models of phones. There’s a certain peace in browsing phones, and only those who are interested in phones can understand that feeling.

Since we had come to Bashundhara Shopping Complex today just to roam around, we kept walking around because we had no interest in buying anything. Suddenly, I noticed an ice cream shop standing on the side. Whenever I visit Bashundhara, I always have ice cream from here. But this time, due to fasting during Ramadan, I missed having the ice cream a lot. I had known the shopkeeper well for a long time, so I stood there and chatted with him for a while. In the middle of the conversation, he asked me how the sales were during this Ramadan. He replied that since it's the month of Ramadan, sales are a bit low, but the sales improve a lot in the evening, and he was really happy about that.

As we walked on, I noticed an amazing store. The store was very beautiful because it sold things for home decoration. From the outside, the shop looked very elegant and appealing, so I decided to enter and have a look at the various items. I have always had a passion for decorating rooms with such items. When the room’s atmosphere is good, it automatically helps in improving the mental state. The name of the store also seemed quite unique to me, as it was called something unusual. Honestly, the name of the store matched its offerings very well.

I came across another unique store there, which sold various Ayurvedic face washes. Most of their face washes were made using natural ingredients, and the store itself was designed in a way that reflected that natural theme. The moment you see their store, it instantly grabs your attention. I found their shop to be absolutely amazing.

While roaming around Bashundhara Shopping Complex, we ended up going to the top floor. When I looked down from the top, the people below seemed so small. This shopping complex is probably a 10-story building, so naturally, when you look from such a height, the people below appear tiny. However, it was a great view from up there. It felt like I was seeing everything at once. The view from the top has always been beautiful.

After spending quite some time there, we decided to head home because it was almost time for Iftar. During Ramadan, we have Iftar at home, so we started getting ready to leave. Since we were on the top floor, we had to take the lift down. But since it was the late afternoon, everyone was rushing to get home, and the lift was crowded. So, we decided to take the stairs down instead.

Once we reached the ground floor, my brother went to get the car from the parking lot. We were standing by the side when I noticed a number of flower plants planted there. The flowers looked stunning, so I took some beautiful pictures of them. These flower plants near the shopping mall added even more to the beauty of the place.

Overall, I really enjoyed my visit to Bashundhara Shopping Complex today. Even though I didn’t buy anything, just walking around and enjoying the surroundings was enough. In Dhaka, there aren’t many places to just roam around, and the beautiful atmosphere inside Bashundhara Shopping Complex provides a sense of contentment. That’s the main reason we went there to hang out.
