🏵️THE DIARY GAME 🏵️

In the month of Ramadan, the most joyous moment is the time of Iftar. After a whole day of fasting, everyone comes together to break their fast. The fun of sitting together for Iftar with classmates, friends, and family is unique. Similarly, an Iftar event is organized by the Department of Political Science at our government Titumir College, where students from all sessions of the department are invited.

I was a member of the Iftar Implementation Committee. This was my first Iftar with the department, as I had only recently enrolled in this college. I didn't know how to organize such an event. All the responsibilities were on the shoulders of the senior students, and they organized it beautifully.

I went to the college in the afternoon. After arriving, I called the seniors to find out where they were. They told me to come to the seminar hall. When I reached the seminar hall, I saw that all the shopping had been completed, and everything had been arranged neatly. Then we discussed where we would sit for Iftar. During the discussion, different places were suggested, but we all agreed that sitting in the field would be the best. The field is spacious, and we would be able to conduct our activities smoothly there. So, arrangements were made to sit in the field, and the surroundings were cleaned up beautifully to ensure that everything looked nice in the end.

Afterward, we brought all our items to the field. Since cutting the fruits was not possible for us, we asked some senior girls from the hall to come and cut the fruits for us. They came and did it very neatly. Everyone was busy with their respective tasks. The joy of dividing the work among us was a bit extra, and the senior girls were cutting the fruits so beautifully. The fun of working together, with seniors and juniors blending in as one, was an experience in itself. For a while, it felt like the Department of Political Science had turned into a family. Just like a family, everyone was working together, hand in hand.

Once the preparation was complete, the task of serving the food began. Some people arranged the plates in an orderly manner, while others individually placed items on the plates. Some people were carefully placing bottles of juice nearby, and others were distributing mineral water to everyone. It was truly joyful to see everyone working together in such harmony. As a result, we were able to arrange all the food very quickly.

Once the food was arranged, we realized there was still plenty of time left. Sitting idly would be boring, so we started chatting with everyone. No one sat down too early, and we began taking pictures with our department friends. It felt so nice to spend such a wonderful time with everyone. We all took pictures behind the banner, and after a long time of photographing, time passed quickly. Then the Asr prayer call was announced, and we all went to offer Asr prayer together.

After the Asr prayer, we sat down in front of the plates. Among us, there was a Hafiz who began to discuss the importance of fasting with us. He highlighted various significant virtues of fasting and recited the Qur'an beautifully. It was a sight to behold when everyone sat together. The arrangement of food in an orderly manner and everyone sitting together was a reflection of the essence of fasting.

Afterward, a lot of food remained. As the organizing committee, we all sat inside the room to eat. Sitting together with seniors and juniors, the joy of the meal became even more special. There were many different fruits in our iftar items, which everyone liked a lot. Everyone waited for the right time to break their fast, eagerly holding their iftar plates with smiles on their faces. When the time came, we all broke our fast together.

After finishing Iftar, I realized that it was time for prayer. So, we all went to offer our prayers. After completing the prayers, we returned and stood together. Then, our class teacher arrived and joined us. With her, both senior and junior students stood together for a group photo. The teacher seemed very happy to be with us.

After that, we took a picture with our batch, 23-24, along with the banner of the Iftar gathering. All the classmates who were present joined the photo with the teacher.

After exchanging greetings with everyone, we all went home. To be honest, today was a very beautiful day. It could be called a pre-Eid reunion for all of us. We had a wonderful time together.
