Hello Steemian friends, how are you? I hope you are very well by the grace of God. By your prayers and the grace of God, I am very well. Today I am presenting a new post to @rmm31 and @imranhassan They have organized a very nice competition. They even joined this repair club as a team to give advice. So thank you very much to them. I want to observe you step by step in a very nice way here.

So today I am coming to you with a new post. My new post today will be about the damaged battery and light in my house which I use when there is no electricity. This battery has been lying there for a long time and it needs to be used with acid and cleaned with two terminals. Anyway, today I have decided to take proper care of the battery like new with acid and terminals.

There will be rainy days ahead and electricity will be very low so I will be able to light a 6 volt light with this battery and it will provide backup for about a week. The battery is small but I am able to light this light as long as there is no electricity. The rainy season and rainy days are coming ahead. So I will get the battery work done in advance.

_{[📍 I first checked with the charger and the light was working fine but the battery was completely damaged, both terminals were completely destroyed]}

I first removed some necessities from the battery terminals because I have to repair the battery very soon. So I removed the necessities from the battery place and put the battery in one place. In the meantime, I first checked the light through 12 volt charger or you can say transformer. In a short while, I connected the 2 wires of the transformer, negative and positive terminals, to the two terminal wires of the light. Just to check the light and whether the transformer is correct. Then in a short while, I connected the wires, put the pen and the switch and immediately saw that the light was active. The light was good but the two terminals of the battery were damaged. I understood very clearly that the light was not turning on because the battery terminals were damaged.

I already understood what the problem was with the battery. Why the light was not on. So I spent some time on the two terminals of the battery and was able to remove the carbon from the two terminals. Due to the acid water coming out little by little from the two terminals of the battery, the carbon accumulates here, which is why the line does not connect. There are many different types of carbon attached to the wire. So I was able to remove the carbon from the terminals with the help of tools, i.e., a tester and a cutting pliers, in a short time. Here I had to spend some time cleaning the terminals very well. There is a lot of carbon accumulated between the two terminals, I must look around and keep them clean.

Then I quickly removed the carbon from both terminals and cleaned them. In the meantime, I have to throw away the damaged parts inside the battery. So I was able to open the top of the battery with the help of cutting pliers in a short time. I had to spend some time opening those holes from the top, it seemed to be a time-consuming process because the holes in the lid were very tight. Anyway, I was able to open the holes in a short time and I will pour out the old acid and leave it in the sun for a while. It will be very effective to dry the battery by adding new acid.

Then I cleaned all the battery dirt and debris in a short time. In the meantime, I will leave the battery in the sun for some time. The reason is that I have to take these steps and actions to activate the new acid by throwing the old acid inside the battery, then my battery will be much better and the battery acid will be able to be used for a long time. So I am continuing the process and in a short time I brought the battery in the sun.

Then I took a piece of red wire in a while. Here I could not use black wire specifically, because I did not have enough black wire. I was able to use red wire because I had red wire. Then I stripped the insulation on the wire with a lighter and then I twisted it nicely with cutting pliers through its terminal point and tightened it.

I have already collected enough acid in a bottle. I have already collected acid from a battery company, that is, there is a shop in our area. Then I poured acid from the big bottle to the small bottle. Within a short time, I started pouring water into the AC through all the holes of the battery. Here below are some marks on the battery. I crossed these marks and started pouring water into the AC little by little. In this way, I was able to use acid water.I can use Vaseline or Meril between the two terminals here.

Then I brought some Vaseline from the room in a while. The reason is that Vaseline has to be used between the two terminals of the battery. By applying Vaseline, carbon will not accumulate between the terminals. The insulation of the battery wires and the terminals will be able to work very well. I heard about applying Vaseline to the terminals of this battery from the shop in our area so I started to process these works.After introducing acid water into the battery, I have to spend about 20 to 30 minutes and give it sufficient heat with a transformer charger.

Anyway, I applied acid inside the battery and used Vaseline on both terminals, so that carbon does not fall between the terminals. Then I spent some time heating the battery. Then I connected the wire to the transformer through the electric wire and started heating the battery acid. After about an hour, I checked whether all the operations were correct. I saw that the light immediately lit up with the switch. I was very happy and delighted, my work was finally completed. My hard work was fruitful, I was able to light the light through the battery.

➡️ Finally I have succeeded. I am very happy to be able to do such a project with my own hands. It has been a long time since this battery was lying in my room, so today I completed the process of lighting the lights with new acid water and a transformer charger.

What do I have to overcome?

➡️ First of all, I will be able to use this battery to light the inside of my room when there is no electricity at home.

➡️ I can use this battery for about five to seven days with just one day of charging via the transformer charger. I must charge it for about 2-3 hours on the first day.

➡️ I have benefited a lot from this battery because when the electricity suddenly goes out during the rainy season, I will be able to use this battery to light the lights for various purposes.
